What do the register entry status responses mean?

When you submit your NRMM entry to the register you may receive one of the following responses listed under the ‘Entry Status’ column. These warnings are based on the ENGINE PLATE NUMBER that you have entered and do not necessarily indicate that your NRMM was incorrectly registered but are designed to highlight that there may be a mismatch in the information supplied on the form.
 

Invalid Engine Approval number

The engine number enetred does not start with an ‘e’

 

Invalid country code

The engine number country code is not recognised from the supplied EU manufacturers list (table 1)

 

Invalid Legislation Base
Invalid engine speed

Mismatch between Legislation base, engine category and engine speed (table 3)

 

Machinery standard mismatch

The engine category code letter does not match the correct EU stage (table 2)

Power mismatch

The power value entered does not fall within the range based on the engine category code (table 2)

Invalid machinery standard

Letter entered in the engine category code does not match the machinery standard (table 2)

 

Invalid Legislation Revision

The entered data does not match the EU legislation codes (table 3)

 

Invalid legislation code

The entered data does not match the EU legislation codes (table 3)

 

Invalid Manufacturer Code

This field requires a digit manufacturer code – no text allowed – not size restricted

 

Invalid Manufacturer Revision Code

This field requires a 4 digit manufacturer code – no text allowed
